About the Artist

From an early age, Maggie knew she wanted to be an artist. In fact, her interest in working with Jesus Painter Ministries specifically began at age 10 when Maggie’s grandmother took her to a week-long, faith-based event in Indiana where she experienced the power of worship through art. Little Maggie was hooked immediately.

The next day Maggie’s grandmother purchased a print for her and on the back, Jesus Painter founder Mike Lewis wrote a message that would prove prophetic many years later. “To Maggie. Use your gifts to bring glory and honor to our Father so He will complete his perfect plan in YOU! Glory to God!”

Maggie’s journey to Jesus Painter Ministries began that day, but it would take a few more key experiences down the road to reveal and confirm her calling as a performance artist.
